Our team of coaches work one-on-one with our clients to identify, apply for and secure compelling employment opportunities. With a comprehensive, long term approach, our coaches continue to offer on-the job coaching and long term support.
INDIVIDUALIZED APPROACH
Our approach is holistic and focuses on both job specific and the intangibles that might affect job readiness and success including: anxiety management, advocacy, independent living skills and travel training. With the ultimate client goal of long term employment and independence, we are focused on finding the appropriate job that lines up with the client’s aptitude, interest and qualifications. We work with clients who have a range of interests and education, including those with advanced degrees and certifications
COMMUNITY BASED
All of our coaches live and work locally so that they are familiar with local employers and the hiring landscape. APL Associates maintains a community based approach so that meetings are either held at local community sites that have resources such as the library or One Stop Center or at the workplace, once employment is secured.
FOCUSED ON LONG TERM SUCCESS
Our clients work in government, academia, office jobs, retail stores, food services, warehouses and many other industries. We support clients looking for their first job and we have also placed experienced applicants in professional jobs that pay “six figure” salaries plus benefits.

For employers, APL offers screening for qualified candidates to fill open positions and on site
support for training. All services performed by APL Associates are funded through the
Department of Labor and there is no cost for the employee or employer. We work with
employers to attract and train a diverse pool of qualified candidates to fill open positions. In
addition, Work Opportunity Tax Credits are available for employers who hire candidates
working with APL Associates through Department of Labor programs. It's a no-brainer -
